THINGS TO KNOW

New Buffalo Sailing Excursions does not serve alcohol, however you are more than welcome to bring your own. Please see the alcohol policy in the Charter Agreement. Plastic cups will be on board for your use. A cooler with ice will be provided as well.

We will provide water and soda. You are more than welcome to bring your own refreshments.

Sailing is wind dependent. Wind conditions change drastically on Lake Michigan. If there is not enough wind to sail, a great boating experience can still happen simply by motoring up and down the coast.

If the weather is rough or questionable, the Captain will discuss with the passengers whether to go out. The ultimate decision is made by the Captain.

A waiver must be signed by all members prior to boarding.

Please wear sensible footwear. Avoid hard black soles that can scuff. The best shoes on a boat are sometimes no shoes.

Feel free to play your own music on our system. We can play music from most devices and phones through bluetooth.
